Since the company was formed in 1996 OneLogix UB has been specialising in the transportation of bulk liquid loads throughout Southern Africa.

Since June 2020 OneLogix UB has embarked on an extensive campaign to renew our fleet and reduce maintenance-related breakdowns. Therefore, no trucks in our fleet will ever be older than five years. Our new policy implemented as of August 2020 specifies that truck tractors will only remain in our fleet until they are four years old.

All our current truck tractors are fitted with the latest Drive Cam cameras that use AI and can identify poor driving behaviour and instantaneously notify the driver to correct his behaviour. For example, should a driver not wear a seatbelt, he will receive an audible notification to correct his behaviour.

We have invested heavily in software systems to optimise efficiencies and monitor any driver deviations from planned routes. A 24-hour control room monitors this, and when a deviation takes place, the driver is contacted in under 5 minutes to ascertain the reason for the deviation and to take corrective action. This system will be further expanded to accommodate a customer portal where load planning and other customer functionality will be available to improve the customer experience. Load planning and route planning will also use AI to determine the most efficient fleet utilisation and improve delivery times.

We operate from our depot based in Vereeniging. We also have a permanent presence in Cape Town and Durban areas. We make extensive use of the OneLogix Group infrastructure when required.
